CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) rotates a cone-shaped X-ray beam around the head to reconstruct a true three-dimensional model of the teeth, jaws, sinuses and airway. It gives far more spatial detail than a conventional dental X-ray at a lower dose than a medical CT.
