Understanding Your CT KUB Report

A CT KUB reports each stone by size in millimetres, its position (calyx, pelvis, ureter, vesico-ureteric junction) and density in Hounsfield units, which hints at composition. Stones under 5 mm often pass on their own; larger or obstructing stones may need intervention.
